Prerequisite:
The prerequisite is a Mathematics Level I or IC Test score of at least 500

Course description:
M403K is one of two courses that develop the mathematical skills considered
important for a large set of students, including all students in the college
of Business Administration. The primary emphasis is on an intuitive version
of the calculus for functions of one variable and its applications. It deals
with the elementary functions with the exception of the trigonometric functions.
M403K is taught with three hours of lectures with regular faculty and two
discussion meetings with teaching assistants each week. May not be counted
by students with credit for M408C, 308K, 308L. May not be counted toward
the major requirement for the Bachelor of Arts, Plan I, degree with a major
in mathematics or toward the Bachelor of Science in Mathematics degree.
